The film is directed by Subhash Kapoor. It is a re-make of the 2012 film Om Shanti Om. The film is a sequel to 2017 film Don 2. It is produced by Excel Entertainment and is distributed by Fox Star Studios. The film is about Shivaay (Tiger Shroff) and Shakti (Nawazuddin Siddiqui) who have been partners for years. Shivaay's father, (Nawazuddin Siddiqui), is a police officer. As a result of the father's influence, Shivaay is selected to join the Pune city police force. Shakti, on the other hand, is a serial killer. Shivaay and Shakti travel to Pune to kill a psychopath, whom they believe is hiding there.
